Prosthetics

Our dentists have a great experience in making all kinds of removable and non-removable constructions, crowns, bridges, veneers, in-lays, on-lays, dentures. While permanent construction is made the patient is supported with the temporary crowns. Alloys based on gold used as a framework of a porcelain device, are very resistable to damages, the wear rate of gold is about the same as tooth enamel. They fit the tooth very well. At the same time traditional crowns made of Ni-Chrome alloys do not fit as well and do not withstand biting pressure. Porcelain-fused-to-gold crowns gives us a perfect esthetic results, gums contacting with gold do not darken. Also we can offer an all-porcelain crown. These crowns can possess translucency that makes them the most cosmetically pleasing of all other crowns. If you want to change the shape or the color of your front teeth there is no need to cover the entire teeth with the crowns, your choice are the veneers. The front surface of a tooth is prepared and covered with ceramics or a light-cured material.

Veneers
Veneers are made of porcelain, they are 0.4-0.8 mm thick. Veneers cover front teeth in cases of tooth pigmentation or destroying. Veneers give the opportunity to achieve perfect shape and colour, protecting teeth simultaneously. As the result patient receives beautiful bright smile having maximum of his teeth tissues saved. Veneers are made according to patient’s wishes on colour, size and shape of teeth. Veneers are safe, durable and long-lasting.
Cases in which veneers are used:
-          Broken teeth
-          Spaces between teeth
-          Deep cervical defects
-          Defects of shape
-          Old fillings which differ from natural teeth
-          Fluorosis
-          “tetracycline teeth”
-          Defects which resulted from traumas or root canal treatment
Veneers don’t to be specially treated or cleaned once they are in the oral cavity. It’s enough to brush them regularly and use floses.
Advantages:
Porcelain veneer has lot’s of advantages comparing to other methods in dental cosmetology.
First of all, veneers make teeth look more natural and healthy, because dental porcelain imitates all facilities of the external layer of the teeth.
Secondly, porcelain veneer never gain stains. Porcelain is smooth and non-penetrating, that’s why stain never remain on the veneer’s surface. You won’t have problems with stains from coffee, tea or tobacco.
All of your dreams of shape and colour will fulfill with porcelain veneers.

Porcelain on-lays
With the growth of technical opportunities in the invention and treatment of ceramics now there’s a chance to use porcelain on-lays instead of massive restorations.
There is a big difference between porcelain on-lay and fillings:
-          Filling is made out of a certain material by the doctor straight in the patient’s cavity. On-lay is made by dental technician and than is fixed on the tooth by the doctor
-          Ceramic on-lays have higher durability than composite fillings
-          It’s a lot easier to adjust colour in a case of porcelain on-lay than in a case of filling
The doctor is preparing the tooth in order to make an on-lay. Than he is making an imprint with an A-Silicone. Gypsum model is made out of imprint by dental technician and than finally, the on-lay is made.
On-lays can be made also out of composite and metal, including gold.
Advantages of on-lays:
-          On-lays have higher durability than fillings. Big fillings are not strong enough to stand the chewing pressure. Therefore, porcelain on-lays strengthen and protect teeth
-          Porcelain on-lays have good esthetics. They completely imitate the natural colour of teeth
-          On-lays strictly repeat the anatomical shape of the teeth
-          Porcelain on-lays don’t change colour as the time passes, there are no coffee or tobacco stains on ceramics
-          On-lay can be made instead of crown

All-porcelain crowns
Reposition of teeth defects with all-porcelain crowns is the most modern method, which combines both- high durability and esthetics. These facilities, as well as biocompatibility make porcelain the best for the prosthetic treatment both in front teeth and in molars. This technology was invented in Europe.
All-porcelain crowns have the same durability as the porcelain-fused-to-metal ones, but all-porcelain crowns have a lot better esthetics.
Oxide of Zircone is used for making:
- Separate crowns
- Bridges
- Venners
- Prosthetic treatment after implantology

Oxide of Zircone is white, which gives us an opportunity to imitate the natural colour of teeth, during the treatment with the porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns it’s impossible to achieve such results. In order to exclude the translucency of metal through the layer of ceramics in the case of porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns opaquers are used. That’s the reason why porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns don’t have the colour deepness. Gums don’t receive light from inside,  as they do in the areas with natural teeth, that’s why gums in the area of crown look darker. When all-porcelain crowns are made, the white base is used, which is covered straightly with ceramics- as a result we achieve fantastic esthetics. IN the case of all-porcelain crowns gums are lightened from inside and look like natural.
Crowns from pressed porcelain
So what are the objectives of pressed porcelain?

First of all, because of translucency and ability to conduct light, porcelain has perfect esthetics.
Another advantage is the highest strictness of adjoining of the crown to the tooth surface. That gives an opportunity to prepare tooth superior to the gum level.
Therefore, all-porcelain crowns give us beautiful esthetics, high durability, natural colour and health of the teeth and gums.
