Endodontics

Healthy organism needs healthy teeth. Most of people think that an ordinary caries is not a big deal, even though caries effectes the biggest part of a human population. Meanwhile caries developes, it hits the central part of a tooth where   blood vessels and nerves (the pulp) are located. Than a person starts to suffer from the severe pain. The cause of this pain is the inflammation and infection of the pulp (called pulpitis) and tissues that surround the tooth (periodontitis).

Pulpitis and periodontitis are the complications of caries.

Endodontics- is the branch of dentistry which deals with such complications and the specialist who does this is called an endodontist. We provide ordinary endodontic procedures as well as rather complicated ones, such as retreatment of the previously cured root canals, in our clinic. The clinic is equipted with microscope which help to find and treat additional root canals. Also microscope helps to find instruments which were left inside the canals during previous unsuccessful treatments and to eliminate them. We use modern endo-motors for the qualified mechanical treatment of root canals and rotary instruments such as K3 (Sybron- Endo), M2 (VDW). The antiseptic treatment and cleaning of the root canal is provided by 5.25% Sodium Hypochloride and Smear Clear Fluid (Sybron-Endo). The filling (obturation) of a root canal is also very important. For the canal filling we use System B and Obtura, which are the latest innovations in Endodontics. To confirm the quality of the root canal filling an X-Ray is made.
